Play solo or with friends, accept your match, then veto maps and pick a side.
Server-side detection, a Windows anti-cheat client and community Overwatch reviews.
Competitive ratings, leaderboards and a separate solo/duo 5v5 Cash Ladder.
Collect platform skins, or sync compatible Steam skins with Premium.
New Steam links need a public Steam profile, public game details with playtime visible, and at least 300 hours played in CS2.
Collect weekly rewards, browse the Market, or sync compatible CS2 skins from Steam. Everyone can buy and sell eligible skins with MP; Pro members get a higher sell rate. Platform items are for use on our servers and can’t be transferred to Steam.
Finish a standard 5v5 or Cash Ladder match to unlock four offered rewards and keep two. After claiming, wait seven days and finish another qualifying match. Missed weeks don’t stack.
Premium Basic or Pro lets you sync and equip compatible skins from your Steam inventory on our servers. Music kits need Pro.
Browse individual skins by wear, float and pattern. Everyone can buy from and sell to the site with MP. Personal Fire Sale offers give 30% off selected items from shared stock; once bought, an item is gone.
Unlocked skins, including Market purchases and weekly drops, can be equipped without Pro. Locked reward skins need Pro, and music kits always need Pro.
Your first case opening doesn’t need Premium. Further openings need Premium Pro and a case in your inventory.
Match Points (MP) are platform credits for the Market and other site features. They can’t be withdrawn or converted to cash.
When the daily bonus is on, your first standard 5v5 or Cash Ladder match of the UTC day pays MP automatically. 2v2 and custom games don’t count.
Keep csgomatchmaking.com in your Steam display name and play at least one match every seven days. After 24 hours of uninterrupted checks, earn MP every 24 hours while eligible.
A queue invitation may offer MP when a match needs more players. It pays when that match finishes.
Paid Premium Pro purchases of 30 days or more include MP. Gift recipients get the MP; free trials don’t.
Complete missions for their listed rewards and play ranked matches to earn season XP. Free MP rewards are for everyone; Pro item rewards need Premium Pro.
Rating milestones, bounties, tournaments and limited-time events each have their own rewards.
Server-side checks and demo analysis flag suspicious activity for review. If your account needs the Windows anti-cheat client, keep it running when queuing and throughout matches.
Anti-cheat setupEligible rated players review demos of flagged or reported players. Votes are weighted by rating, and staff can investigate cases.
How Overwatch worksCheating, alt accounts, ban evasion and disruptive behavior are covered by the ban policy. Missing or abandoning matches triggers escalating penalties.
Ban policyYour rating changes after each finished ranked match, based on the result, recent form, streaks and the active rating-balancing rules. Custom games are unrated. New players are provisional until they win 6 games; their rating is tracked but hidden until then.
Leaderboards compare players by season, region, rating and results. The Cash Ladder has its own solo/duo 5v5 queue and separate Ladder Points (LP). LP, rating and MP are separate systems.
Premium pays for servers, operations and active moderation.
Ad-free browsing, Steam inventory sync, up to 20 loadout presets, a Premium badge and username changes. Standard matchmaking and parties stay free.
Everything in Basic, plus custom-game hosting, priority matchmaking, a player avoid list, advanced profile insights, match replays, profile customization, more case openings, locked reward skins, music kits and Pro season rewards.
Our match servers are built on open-source work. Thank you to everyone behind it: Get5 by splewis and contributors (match setup, ready-up, pauses, stats; GPLv3, we run it with a small fix of our own), SourceMod and Metamod:Source by AlliedModders, and SteamWorks by KyleSanderson.
