How it works

  1. Player flagged. Our server-side anti-cheat detects suspicious behavior, or a player is reported by the community.
  2. Added to the queue. The flagged player’s demo is added to the Overwatch review queue.
  3. Reviewers assess. Verified reviewers watch the demo and submit their verdict independently.
  4. Action taken. Once enough reviewers are convinced of a violation, the player is banned.

Becoming a reviewer

Players who have finished placement matches and have a rating can take part. Higher-rated players carry more weight.

Weighted votes

Your vote is weighted by your rating relative to the player you’re reviewing, so higher-rated reviewers carry more influence on high-level cases.

Rating required

Finish your placement matches to unlock Overwatch. You’ll be prioritized for players near your skill level.
