1. Install CS:GO
The old CS2 beta branch (csgo_legacy) no longer works with our servers. Install CS:GO as a separate game from the Steam Store using the button below. It’s a hidden listing, so it can only be opened with a direct link.
Open the CS:GO store page- Click the button above to open the CS:GO Steam Store page. Log in to Steam if asked.
- Click Install Game. Steam downloads CS:GO as its own entry in your library, separate from Counter-Strike 2.
- That’s it. CS:GO is installed and ready to play.
2. Join your first match
Hit Play on the home page to join your first match. You’ll be matched with players of a similar skill level. Talk to your team and stick to the basics.
